A course built around exam patterns, high-yield concepts, mapped past papers and intelligent revision — so you spend less time searching and more time actually preparing.
21,000 MCQs refined into the 6,000 most exam-relevant questions
When EduBros began, psychiatry was one of the most neglected areas of postgraduate medical education. There were very few quality courses, almost no structured guidance for trainees, no proper TOACS resource, limited Part II support, and many students simply did not know what to study, how to study, or where to begin. We worked to make difficult psychiatry books easier, clearer and more practical so trainees could understand what they were studying instead of merely memorizing pages.
Then we learned something even more important: exams have patterns.
That realization changed everything.
Many trainees were working extremely hard without understanding the recurring patterns behind the examination. We launched TOACS Psychiatry, expanded into IMM, FCPS Part II and MRCPsych, and over time EduBros became a familiar name among psychiatry trainees. Ask around, and there is a good chance someone has studied from us, attended one of our courses, used one of our resources, or knows someone who has.
We do not claim to be the whole journey.
But we are proud to have become a small part of the journey of many psychiatrists. That is what we want EduBros to remain: a platform you can return to whenever you need structured learning, exam guidance and a clearer path forward.
Why this FCPS Part I course exists
Part I is difficult. It does not have to feel random.
Some candidates begin to believe that passing depends on luck. We approached the problem differently: past-paper questions come from specific topics, repeatedly tested concepts, recurring themes and recognizable examination patterns.
01
What gets asked?
Identify the concepts and topic areas that actually enter the examination.
02
What gets repeated?
Recognize recurring ideas even when the wording of the MCQ changes.
03
Where do students get trapped?
Make common confusions and examiner traps visible before they cost marks.
04
Which areas deserve more time?
Prioritize frequently tested, high-yield concepts instead of treating every page equally.
05
How is one concept tested differently?
Learn the concept behind the question, not merely one remembered answer.
06
What repetition can be removed?
Refine a very large question pool into a more efficient exam-relevant bank.

More MCQs ≠ better preparation
The goal is not to make you study more. It is to make every hour count.
Traditional question banks often repeat the same concept with slightly different wording. That can create volume without creating proportional learning.
×
Traditional overload
Thousands of questions with hidden conceptual repetition.
Hours spent without knowing which ideas are genuinely high yield.
Past papers separated from the notes that explain them.
Constant switching between books, PDFs, groups and answer keys.
✓
EduBros approach
Questions organized around their underlying concepts.
Unnecessary repetition reduced so revision becomes more efficient.
Past-paper questions embedded beside the concepts they test.
Examiner focus, common traps and revision tools brought into one workflow.
Stop searching everywhere
One place for the things you were previously collecting from ten places.
For Paper I and Paper II, the aim is to bring concepts, past papers, explanations, trends, high-yield guidance and revision into one connected system.

Why are repeated past-paper concepts more useful than memorizing isolated MCQ wording?
Because understanding the recurring concept lets you answer it even when the examiner changes the wording or angle.

Why this course matters to us
For many students, FCPS Part I may be their first experience with EduBros.
We want that first experience to represent the best of what we have learned from books, TOACS, IMM, FCPS Part II, MRCPsych, exam guidance and years of working with psychiatry trainees.
A
Patterns we have identified
The recurring ideas, trends and high-yield areas that repeatedly show up in examination preparation.
B
Mistakes we have seen
Common preparation problems, confusing concepts and traps that repeatedly cost students marks.
C
Resources we have built
Notes, mapped questions, revision material, mock practice and tools designed to work together.
If you have failed before, read this
Do not let one exam become a judgment about your ability.
After one or two unsuccessful attempts, many students stop asking, “How should I prepare differently?” and begin asking, “Maybe I am not good enough?” Sometimes the problem is not intelligence or effort. Sometimes the preparation method simply is not aligned with the examination.
If you have studied hard and still could not pass, try us. If you are confused about where to begin, come to us. If you feel that you have tried everything and are beginning to lose hope, contact us.
