I had notes from lectures, screenshots from Maudsley, random tables from WhatsApp groups and my own handwritten pages.

Eventually it became impossible to remember where anything was.

After starting Maudsley Made Easy I stopped making new pharmacology notes completely.

Whenever I needed to revise something I went back to the same tables.

That consistency helped much more than having ten different sources.

Definitely one of the better EduBros resources I have used.

I used this for both revision and occasionally as a quick reminder while working.

The most useful thing is not necessarily that the information is new, because Maudsley already contains the information.

The value is how it has been reorganised.

Good medical revision resources are not about adding more information. They are about making the important information easier to retrieve from memory.

This does that very well.

This is one of those resources that became more useful the closer I got to the exam.

Three months before exam I could happily read the full textbook.

Ten days before exam, absolutely not 😂

At that stage Maudsley Made Easy was perfect because I could rapidly revise the drug classes and go straight to things I was forgetting.

I used the questions to decide which tables needed another look.

Very practical final revision resource.

For me the best part is how visually clean everything is.

This might sound like a strange thing to mention in a medical review, but I have many excellent notes which I simply don't use because every page looks exhausting.

Here the information is separated properly and the tables are easy to scan.

I have used it since the earlier release and version 3.0 is noticeably better.

I would still like even more test questions in future, but overall excellent.

I initially thought I would only use this for a few difficult pharmacology topics.

Ended up going through almost the whole thing.

What makes it useful is repeated revision. Reading Maudsley once gives you understanding, but exams require you to remember small differences between drugs under pressure.

A table can be revised three or four times in the time it would take to reread a long chapter.

The questions then show whether those differences actually stayed in your head.

Good combination.

I think the reason this worked for me is that it respects the fact that most psychiatry trainees already have access to excellent reference books.

We don't necessarily need another 700-page book.

What we need during examination preparation is a way of taking that huge amount of information and seeing the relationships between drugs.

The tables do exactly that.

You can compare efficacy, adverse effects, monitoring, dose and special considerations without mentally joining information from five different pages.

That is where I found the real value.

I genuinely hated revising drug interactions before this 😭

There were too many little details and I kept mixing them.

The tables made it much easier to compare.

Same with pregnancy and breastfeeding recommendations.

I kept screenshots of some pages and revised them repeatedly.

Very helpful.

Very good for people who already know basic psychiatry and just want to organise pharmacology properly.

It doesn't feel like starting another course from zero.

You can jump directly to the drug or topic you are weak in.

The test questions also make it easier to see what needs another revision.

I started using Maudsley Made Easy from the earlier version and have seen it improve with updates.

Version 3.0 feels much more polished.

I particularly like that you can use it for 10 minutes or for two hours, depending on how much time you have.

Some days during duties I would only revise one table and still feel I had done something useful.

My biggest issue with psychopharmacology was mixing similar facts.

Which antidepressant has which interaction, which antipsychotic has more prolactin, which needs what monitoring etc.

Seeing everything side by side helped much more than reading each drug separately.

Good resource and honestly the tables are worth it.

Very useful specially in the last month before exam.

At that stage I was not going to read Maudsley cover to cover again.

I needed something where I could revise lithium in 15 minutes, antipsychotics in another sitting and quickly test myself afterwards.

This worked really well for that.

I bought it mainly because I was tired of making my own Maudsley notes.

Honestly should have got it earlier.

The dose tables, important interactions and adverse effect comparisons save a ridiculous amount of time.

I still use the main book if there is something I want to understand deeply, but for exam revision I mostly come back here.

One thing I really appreciate is the layout.

Medical notes are usually either too simple and miss important information or they put so much text on one page that you don't want to read it.

This one has a good balance.

I could revise it from my phone as well which helped during duties.

Mocks/questions were also useful to check weak areas.

Very good for Part II preparation.

Maudsley itself has too much detail to repeatedly revise near exam.

This gives you the important things in a much more manageable format.

The tables comparing drugs are probably the strongest feature.

Whenever I got a question wrong I would come back to that table and somehow getting it wrong once made me remember it permanently 😂

I have been using it from almost the time EduBros released the first version.

3.0 is definitely much better and more complete.

For me the main advantage is not having to make my own tables anymore. Earlier I had separate handwritten tables for doses, adverse effects, pregnancy and interactions.

Now I just revise these.

It saved me a lot of time honestly.

Honestly pharmacology was always the part I kept delaying because every time I opened Maudsley I would end up reading one topic for an hour 😂

Maudsley Made Easy solved that problem for me.

Tables are very well made and you can revise the same topic again and again without feeling exhausted.

I specially liked antidepressant switching, antipsychotic side effects and monitoring.

The questions also helped because some were quite tricky.

Very useful resource.

Good resource and very easy to navigate.

The original Maudsley will always be the main reference, but for exams I honestly use Made Easy more often because I can revise the same information multiple times.

That repetition is what finally made drug doses and monitoring stick in my head.

For Arab trainees who are studying after hospital duties, this kind of format is honestly very helpful.

Some nights you don't have energy to read 30 pages.

But you can still revise two or three tables and do some questions.

I have used it this way for months.

Very practical resource.

I started using this from the early release because my colleague recommended it.

At first I thought it would just be another summary PDF but it is much better organised than that.

I like especially the comparison tables and important clinical points.

The questions are also not all very obvious, some of them make you go back and check the table again.

That is good for learning.

Honestly one of the resources I use almost every week.

Sometimes only for five minutes.

If I want to compare two antipsychotics or quickly check important monitoring, I can find it easily.

For exam preparation this saves a lot of time.

Very good layout and enough detail without becoming another textbook.
